Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles

Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles

Ingredients:

12 oz linguine

1 lb sirloin steak

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup Parmesan, grated

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta

Boil a large pot of salted water.

Cook linguine until al dente, then drain and set aside (reserve 1/4 cup pasta water).

2. Cook the Steak

Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare to medium).

Remove, let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

3. Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

Add remaining 1 tbsp butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.

Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan.

Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

4. Combine and Serve

Toss the pasta to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce.

Top with sliced steak.

Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
