12 oz penne pasta

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil, divided

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
