Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper Whiskey Gummies

Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper Whiskey Gummies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Cherry Dr. Pepper
  • 1 cup vanilla-flavored whiskey
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon cherry extract (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray or silicone gummy molds

Directions:
Begin by preparing your gummy molds. If you are using silicone molds, lightly spray them with cooking spray to ensure easy removal of the gummies later. If you don’t have cooking spray, use a paper towel to rub a small amount of oil inside the molds.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cold water and unflavored gelatin powder. Stir gently until the gelatin is fully dissolved and there are no lumps. This may take a minute or two.
Once the gelatin is dissolved, add the Cherry Dr. Pepper and vanilla-flavored whiskey to the bowl. Stir the mixture thoroughly to combine all the ingredients evenly.
Next, add the granulated sugar to the mixture. Continue to stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. This may take a few minutes, so be patient to ensure a smooth texture.
If you are using cherry extract and vanilla extract for added flavor, add them to the mixture and stir well to incorporate.
Carefully pour the gummy mixture into the prepared molds. You can use a small measuring cup or a pipette for more precise pouring, ensuring that you fill each mold evenly.
Once all the molds are filled, place them in the refrigerator. Allow the gummies to set for at least 4 hours, or until they are firm to the touch.
After the gummies have set, remove them from the refrigerator. Carefully pop each gummy out of the mold. If you encounter any resistance, gently flex the mold to help release the gummies.
Store the finished Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper Whiskey Gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
