🍽 Garlic Butter Beef Linguine with Creamy Parmesan Sauce
A rich, comforting pasta loaded with savory beef, silky garlic-butter cream sauce, and plenty of Parmesan. Simple, hearty, and unbelievably good!
🧂 Ingredients
For the Beef
1½ lbs ground beef (or thinly sliced steak)
1 tbsp olive oil (if using steak)
1½ tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½–1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Pasta & Sauce
12 oz linguine
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth (or beef broth)
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
½ cup mozzarella (optional for extra creaminess)
½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)
Garnish
Fresh parsley
Extra Parmesan
Fresh cracked pepper
🔥 Instructions
Cook the Linguine
Boil linguine in salted water until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high.
Add ground beef (or steak slices with olive oil).
Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Cook until browned and no longer pink.
Remove beef and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Cream Sauce
In the same skillet:
- Add butter and let it melt.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken (or beef) broth, deglaze the pan.
- Add heavy cream and stir until smooth.
- Add Parmesan (and mozzarella if using).
- Simmer on low until thick and velvety.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Everything
Add the cooked linguine into the sauce.
Stir in the browned beef.
Toss until everything is coated and glossy.
Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.
Serve
Plate your creamy beef linguine.
Top with fresh parsley, more Parmesan, and cracked pepper.
