Pork Chops in the Air Fryer

Pork Chops in the Air Fryer

You don’t need a skillet or oven to make these pork chops, which are golden on the outside, juicy in the middle, and full of flavor. I usually put them on top of mashed potatoes or serve them with something green on the side.

Things you need

Two thick-cut pork chops, with or without bones

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 teaspoon of Italian spices

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of paprika

For finishing, you can add a little honey or maple syrup.

How to do it

Add seasoning to the pork.
Put the pork chops in a dish that isn’t too deep. Add olive oil and sprinkle garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika on top. Make sure the chops are well coated by rubbing everything in. If you have time, let them sit for about 10 minutes. It makes the flavor better.

Set the air fryer to 380°F (195°C) before you start.

Make the pork chops.
Put the pork chops in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer.
Put it in the air fryer for 12 to 14 minutes, turning it halfway through. They should be a nice brown color and have an internal temperature of 145°F.

Let it rest before serving.
Remove the chops from the pan and let them sit for 3 to 5 minutes. This keeps them moist.

Finish if you want to.
Drizzle a little honey or maple syrup on top right before serving if you like something sweet.

Advice

The air fryer keeps thicker chops juicier than thinner ones.

Add 1–2 more minutes if your chops are very thick.

These taste great with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
