The “Toast Flight” Four Ways


Base: 4 thick slices of toasted sourdough or artisanal bread.

The Toppings
_ The Blueberry: 1/4 cup Greek yogurt + 1 tbsp blueberry jam (swirled) + 8-10 fresh blueberries + 1 tbsp granola.

_ The Avocado: 1/2 avocado (sliced thin and fanned) + 1 tsp black sesame seeds + a sprig of parsley + cracked black pepper.

_ The Banana: 2 tbsp smooth peanut butter + 1/2 banana (sliced) + 1 tsp cacao nibs (or mini chocolate chips).

_ The Raspberry: 2 tbsp Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread + 10 fresh raspberries + edible flower petals (optional).

Instructions

  1. Toast: Get your bread to a medium-dark brown so it can hold the weight of the toppings.
  2. Layer: Apply the “spread” layer first (yogurt, peanut butter, etc.) all the way to the edges.
  3. Arrange: For the avocado, use the side of your knife to gently “fan” the slices across the bread. Top with garnishes immediately.
