For the chicken liver:
500g chicken livers (cleaned)
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Fresh parsley (chopped)
For the potatoes:
3โ4 large potatoes
Salt (for boiling)
For topping:
1 fresh tomato (diced)
Fresh parsley
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions:
1๏ธโฃ Boil the potatoes:
Peel and cut potatoes into large chunks.
Boil in salted water for 15โ20 minutes until tender.
Drain and set aside.
2๏ธโฃ Cook the chicken liver:
Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds.
Add chicken livers and cook for 5โ7 minutes, turning occasionally.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
Cook until browned outside and tender inside (do not overcook).
Finish with lemon juice.
3๏ธโฃ Plate the dish:
Place boiled potatoes on the plate.
Top with fresh diced tomatoes and parsley.
Serve chicken livers on the side.
Drizzle a little olive oil or sauce from the pan over the dish.
