High-Protein Steak & Eggs Plate Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 1 ribeye steak (or your preferred steak cut)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 small sweet potato, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Olive oil or butter

Instructions:

  1. Cook the sweet potato:
    Heat a pan over medium heat with a little olive oil. Cook the sweet potato slices for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and tender. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the spinach:
    In the same pan, sauté the spinach for 1–2 minutes until wilted. Add a pinch of salt.
  3. Cook the steak:
    Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
    Heat a pan over high heat with a little oil or butter.
    Cook the steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for your preferred doneness).
    Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Cook the eggs:
    In a separate pan, cook the eggs sunny-side up (or your preferred style). Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Assemble the plate:
    Place the steak on the plate. Add the eggs, sliced avocado, sautéed spinach, sweet potato, and fresh berries on the side.

Optional Tip:
You can sprinkle fresh parsley on the eggs for extra flavor and presentation.
