Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed & finely chopped)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp flour (for binding, optional)
- Oil for shallow frying
Instructions
- Steam broccoli until soft, then finely chop.
- In a mixing bowl, add broccoli, grated cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

- Mix well and shape into small patties.
- If the mixture feels too soft, add flour for better binding.
- Heat a pan with a little oil.
- Place patties on the pan and cook on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides (about 3–4 minutes each side).
- Serve warm with ketchup, garlic mayo, or your favorite dip.

Tips
- Add chili flakes for a spicy version.
- You can air-fry the patties for a healthier option (180°C for 10–12 minutes).
- Replace cheddar with mozzarella for a cheesier stretch.
- Add grated carrots for extra color and nutrition.
