Garlic Steak Bites (20 Minutes)
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye/strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, but great)
- ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the steak
Pat steak bites dry with paper towels (this helps them sear). Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Heat the pan
Heat a large skillet (cast iron works best) over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
- Sear the steak bites
Add steak in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove steak from pan and set aside.
- Make it garlicky
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic.
Sauté for 30–45 seconds, just until fragrant (don’t burn the garlic).
- Finish the steak
Return steak bites to the pan. Toss in the garlic butter for 1–2 minutesuntil coated and cooked to your liking.
- Serve immediately
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
