Cream together

This is the recipe I use for my sugar cookies. Everything you already have, nothing fancy. But they turn out AWESOME!

Cream together

4 sticks butter/margarine (I use Imperial)

3 cups sugar

Add & mix well

4 eggs

2 TBSP vanilla

2 tsp baking soda

1 tap salt

Slowly add in

7 1/2 cups flour

Refrigerate overnight (or uo to a week) or freeze for an hour (or 1 month)

Roll out COOL dough on flour, bake at 350 until slightly golden at edges. I bake on Parchment paper. Completely cool before icing.

WARM DOUGH WIN’T HOLD SHAPE!!! Make sure it’s cool

Icing -guessing on amounts since I don’t measure

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup milk

Consistency is key. You want it to be able to be spooned, but not pour off spoon. Too thin? Add more powdered sugar. Too thick, add TINY amounts of milk.
