🥬🍖 Southern Cabbage Recipe 🌶️🍲

Ingredients:

1 head of cabbage, chopped
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:

In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped cabbage, coating it well with the bacon drippings.
Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper over the cabbage. Stir to combine.
Pour in the chicken broth and apple cider vinegar. Cover and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
Stir in the cooked bacon pieces and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
