Simple Apple Cake
The easiest apple pie that melts in your mouth!
✅ Ingredients:
- 4 apples, sliced
- Butter (for greasing the baking dish)
- 2 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 100 ml milk (room temperature)
- 200 g wheat flour
- 10 g baking powder (about 2 teaspoons)
- A splash of vanilla extract (or a small packet of vanillin for aroma)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Prepare the baking dish:
Grease a round or rectangular baking dish with butter. Set it aside. - Prepare the apples:
Wash, peel (optional), and slice the apples into thin wedges or slices. You can sprinkle them lightly with lemon juice to prevent browning if you like. - Make the batter:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggsand sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the flourand baking powder, then gradually add them to the wet mixture.
- Stir until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Assemble the cake:
- Pour half of the batter into the greased baking dish.
- Place a layer of sliced apples on top.
- Pour the remaining batter over the apples.
- Arrange the remaining apple slices on top in a decorative pattern if you wish.
- Bake:
- Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and serve:
- Let the cake cool slightly before serving.
- You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top, or serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra deliciousness.

- Use sweet apples like Fuji, Gala, or Golden Delicious for best flavor.
- You can add a pinch of cinnamon to the batter or sprinkle it on top for a warm, cozy taste.
