Egg & Bacon Sliders
Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 6 thin slices of cheddar cheese
- 3 slices cooked bacon, cut into halves (6 pieces)
- 1 avocado
- ½ tsp lime juice
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Toothpicks
Instructions
1. Prepare the Avocado Spread
- In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lime juice.
- Add cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until creamy and smooth. Set aside.
2. Slice the Eggs
- Carefully slice each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise.
- You will use each half as the “bun” for your sliders.
3. Assemble the Sliders
- Take one egg half (flat side down) and add a small spoonful of the avocado mixture on top.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese over the avocado.
- Add a piece of bacon.
- Top with the second egg half to form a mini slider.
- Secure the slider with a toothpick.
4. Serve
- Arrange sliders on a plate and serve immediately.
- These are perfect as a protein-packed snack, appetizer, or low-carb breakfast bite.
